The Story
I wanted to take a moment to share a bit about my journey with Uncover Rolla. My name is Rachel Jung and I founded Uncover Rolla back in 2013. Living in Rolla as an adult was certainly a different experience than my college days at Missouri S&T - it felt a little strange to be the alumni hanging out at the Grotto! That sense of curiosity inspired me to dive deeper into the community, eager to learn more about the people, places, and stories that make Rolla unique, all while sharpening my photography skills.
Over the years, I have grown to genuinely love Rolla and the surrounding region, embracing its quirks and discovering hidden gems along the way. It's amazing to see how much has changed and evolved since Uncover Rolla began. This March marked 13 years since its inception, and my passion for photography and exploration still burns strong. These days, most of my adventures happen with my cell phone, whether I'm out with my kids or snapping moments around the office.
The journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I am grateful for the path Uncover Rolla has taken me down. Thank you for coming along for the ride and sharing in the adventure!
